The hotel was very clean. The place is 3.6 miles away from Peabody downtown. Breakfast food was deliciuos. Shuttle service was provided here too.
-
We truly enjoyed facilities and staff, the hotel had everything we required for our trip. Walking distance to Marco's Restaurant, where you can have lunch. This venue is equal to 3 stars.
-
The check in staff was VERY friendly and completely satisfied my needs for this stay. Every hotel needs a representative like him at the front desk for check-in. Sorry but I did not remember his name but we checked in at approximately 2:15 PM on 10/17/12 so I'm sure he can be identified.
Everything was exceptional.

The hotel luckily is within a short distance from exits on a divided highway making it easier to reach than other hotels on same street.
When we were checking out we told the associate we forgot to show our aaa for discount. He flatly told us no discount because it had to be shown at the time of check-in. I do not remember any notice when we booked the room it had to be shown up front and then the person checking us in should have asked if we were aaa members. Things happen, the lack of empathy or trying to find out what happened for us made this a memorable problem. As we were checking out I asked if there was a customer use computer so I could print directions. The associate at the desk very nicely offered to print some for me several times, but we were traveling several states away through major cities at heavy traffic times. I wanted a few minutes to check different alternate routes before I made a decision. I was VERY upset by the customer use computer. The room was either on a different temperature setting or NOT ventilated with the electronics. It was very hot and uncomfortable. The computer was SLOW. To check/print directions with two route modifications took me over 35 minutes. That would have taken me less than 5 minutes on almost ANY other computer. Upgraded equipment, upgraded software, regular maintenance, forethought into the temperature of the room. Anyone of those could have made that a better experience. What was otherwise a fairly pleasant stay turned bad in the last 40 minutes, 35 minutes checking directions, 5 minute checkout. We left the hotel mad, frustrated, and hot. The last impression we have of the hotel.

Brilliant location plenty of places to eat around it.
nothing

Love that it is close to highway, room seemed nicer than the first time I stayed. Staff very nice and accommodating.
Tough to get out onto route one, no refrigerator or microwave. Remote control for TV didn't work well.
-
Keys did not work had to keep getting new ones. Printer in business station did not work. Outside doors left open late at night. Elevator either did not work or the hundreds of kids running up and down the halls and using it No hot water the morning we checked out
-
Nothing. Spend a little more and stay anywhere but this place.
Blood and stains on carpet in room, broken dirty fridge sitting outside of room, staff that didn't care, not run by Holiday Inn (it's Independently Owned), did not ask if I enjoyed my stay, I can go on and on...

the room was comfortable
Our room keys did not work and twice we had to go back to the desk to have that taken care of. The room was somewhat shabby, torn curtains and wall paper coming off the wall. I was not impressed and thought the room was rather expensive.
-
There was only one chair in the room and it was the desk chair. There were 2 stools but they were not very comfortable for relaxing on.
-
The price of the room.
One of two beds was too hard.
-
Good jumping off spot for touring North Shore
-
The front desk staff fulfilled all my needs.Excellent management very well managed. I used the business office late at night for a pending court case...great closed in biz center for all my needs. I recommend this hotel to all..great value for room cost.
The free coffee

I like that it was very quiet.
Table lamp didn't work. Reported it to the desk clerk. Stayed for two days, it didn't get fixed.

The Holiday Inn itself was great, friendly staff, clean rooms, and easy check in and out.
The location was less than desirable. Don't get lost in Peabody at night without a GPS like we did. Sonic was less than a mile down the road, but that 10 minute food stop turned into about 2 hours of getting lost and turning into active crime scenes.
